The adjustable tab tension system offers optimal flatness of the fabric across the entire surface. The lateral ropes generate tension towards the edges and thus prevent edge curling. This is an issue which may occur with standard motorised screens.
A tab tension screen also provides optimal flatness under varying temperature conditions.
The electric screen is operated via the radio remote control, it can be fully extended, retracted or stopped at any position. The motor is quiet and reliably stops the fabric at the same position.
Decide where you wish to install the screen. It comes pre-assembled and can be mounted to the wall or ceiling in a few easy steps.
Optimal image reproduction
The black back is impervious to light. The black borders increase the contrast. The type D fabric (diffuse reflection) has a gain factor of 1.0 and reflects light evenly. The projection always appears evenly on the screen with no light spots or less well-lit areas. It is suitable for high resolution content including 4K.
Reliable fabric quality
The screen fabric is manufactured with a double-sided coating. The middle layer provides additional stability and excellent flatness.

- Where is the tab tension screen used?
The electric tab tension screens are driven by a motor and can be comfortably operated using the remote control or directly via the buttons on the receiver box.
Alternatively you can control the screen via an existing switch, simply disconnect the wall box and connect the 4-core cable directly from the screen. It is also possible to use existing control systems or triggers as long as they can be connected to 220V. The screen comes with default upper and lower stop positions. The lower stop position on a tab tension screen must not be altered.
The electric screen is most convenient to use and can be installed without great effort, if a power point is available.
The tab tension system tightens the fabric and provides additional flatness of the screen. The motor always stops at the default stop positions (top and bottom) and the projected image will always appear in the right position. An electronically operated screen will preserve the fabric as the movement is more constant and uses less force than when operated manually. Operating a screen with a remote also has the advantage to prevent any misuse. This can be useful in public places such as bars, restaurants or even in schools and universities.
A disadvantage is that electric screens obviously require close electric points and the installation (receiver box and cables) is more involved and may not be convenient or aesthetically desirable in some environments such as listed buildings, museums and churches.
The lower stop position of the tab tension screen cannot be altered and the correct height needs to be calculated prior to installation.
The electric tab tension screen is versatile but is mostly used in the home cinema environment as the home cinema enthusiast appreciates the perfect flatness that this kind of screen offers.
It is also advantageous to use tab tension screens in environments where the temperature fluctuates as the tab tension system keeps the material flat and tight.
